I had the honour of capturing these special memories for a German-Kenyan family during their stay in Diani Mombasa, Kenya. Since I became a mother myself, I appreciate portraits of my little family even more, because time flies so fast. The baby is a teenager and the cute baby giggles are gone. And lest we forget, it's usually us mums who take a ton of photos of the kids and dad and kids and rarely get to be in the picture ourselves. You know how it is, messy hair, no make-up, food stains on the t-shirt etc. 😄 Can I get an amen Mamas? 😉
