Dutch Still Life Inspired Photoshoot for Claire Pettibone’s Bella Belle Shoes Collection

This past January I had the distinct pleasure of working with the amazing and spirited bridal designer, Claire Pettibone. Together with Claire and her husband, Guy, we focused on Claire’s new shoe collection, Bella Belle Shoes. The two were so inspiring as a couple, as parents and as creatives, it was a true honour to work alongside them! Claire has a brilliant design style that began in lingerie and eventually moved into the creation of stunning bridal gowns and of course, shoes!. Her designs are breathtaking, and inspired by
vintage romance marrying Bohemian flair. She loves delicate florals, soft, romantic colours, butterflies and lace. All of her glorious visions were brought to the forefront during this Dutch Still Life inspired photoshoot for her new Bella Belle Shoes. The day itself was a bit rainy which somehow suited that ethereal mood of the shoot. The team was incredible: Claire Pettibone, Guy Toley, Peony and Plum with their stunning floral designs
and the amazing Kristene Bernard providing hair and makeup design made for an absolute
dream team! Peony and Plum’s ethereal florals draping and caressing the furniture and spilling onto the old
world hardwood floor created a spring like and romantic setting to surround and envelope the Bella Belle Shoes Collection in roses, peaches, plums, tangerines and pale blues. The bride, whose hair and makeup by Kristene Bernard was absolutely glowing and vibrant with different pops of colour on her lips throughout the shoot, wore a dress designed by Claire. The design breathed bohemian romance and vintage lace and blended perfectly together to compliment the sensational Bella Belle Shoes highlighted in the photoshoot. The new collection featured feminine, delicate lace, butterflies and even a touch of blue - shoes that will absolutely inspire spring romance and old world beauty in any bride that comes across the new designs.
