You don't come across clients who feel like a boudoir session is an absolute must very often.. and I was beyond thrilled when my sweet bride asked. Boudoir is a beautiful, pensive, and reflective session in and of itself, but to add in the exotic Jakarta location? Yes, please!

We kept things simple with the lace robe by Make My Day, full length veil, and a stunning indoor location at the Four Seasons (what is more glamorous than the Four Seasons in Jarkarta!?). My personal favorite detail were her sheer booties by Bella Belle Shoes, I have admired those bridal shoes for so long! It was a truly wonderful way to feel prepped and ready for their upcoming wedding.. and you'll definitely want to read below what she says about her groom when she gifted the photos to him. So sweet!

"The wedding boudoir photo shoot was one of the MUST have for my wedding session and I prepared it to surprise my now-husband Mike and for me to look back at it too.  For me it captures the sweetness, softness and the elegance of a woman in a subtle kind of lingerie portraiture.  As I am a typical bride who likes the traditional culture that shows the old, classic and heirloom styling.  I wanted to make it as classical french as possible by having the room to have touches of the Victorian era ambiance so it can enhance the classic french boudoir as the boudoir photo was originated from France.  

For the boudoir shots attire, the white ethereal dress with a touch of french lace became my favorite choice, while the shoes, veil, and jewelry, I was leaning towards more of an antique feel.

I have no experience about wedding boudoir pictures, but Tanja helped me a lot!  

I felt so satisfied after the session knowing I finally did a wedding boudoir shots and curious how it will turn out, of course it turns out amazing.  The best part is giving it to Mike, as he opens the gift, he was really surprised and the smile on his face shows he was loving it."
