Julia and Alex are that couple - radiating love, serenity, and genuine appreciation for each other every minute of every day. Not only for each other, but these two appreciate and soak in their surroundings when they travel. When they contacted me for a mini getaway and anniversary session, we discussed their hobbies and loves. Julia and Alex both adore travel and good food, and lovely Julia finds so much happiness in preparing beautiful means. Knowing this, we decided on none other than the Provence region in France for their session. Provence has a Mediterranean climate, a vibrant food and festival culture, and is of course known for their famous lavender fields. There was no question as to where we would go!

We ventured to a small town called Valensole and took a boat tour in Verdon Gorge, where you'll see the most incredible turquoise waters and stunning cliffs. A relaxed walk through an olive tree grove captured magical sunlight and we soaked in every sunbeam. Julia and Alex mixed up their looks with a casual, effortless style (and how sweet is Julia's hat!).

When we made our way to the lavender fields, we were overjoyed to discover clear skies and one of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen! Julia wore a formal wedding gown and the soft tulle added the perfect dose of romance to their look. I loved working with these two and love the concept of a destination anniversary session as well.
